Realizing a Healthy Community by Nurturing Families

Family Matters is a Family Resource Center located in Polson, Montana on the Flathead Indian Reservation. The center is one of the programs run by the Coalition for Kids, an organization dedicated to providing services to youth and their families. Funding for the Family Resource Center is provided by the Montana Children’s Trust Fund, the Gilhousen Family Foundation, and the Mattel Foundation.

Goals:

To provide programs and activities designed to strengthen and support families.
To provide Lake County with a central physical location for family oriented activities and programs.
To promote overall family and community health and welfare by providing positive modeling and support to parents and their children.
